Could you survive without any video games? If you can then good for you because I know that I couldn't. Right before I started writing this blog I added up how many hours I have into all my steam games and it summed up to about 700 hours and that is only half of my games. I am mindlessly connected to the virtual realities created by video games just like millions of other people. A lot of people think that video games are dumb but if you really look at them they are a little amazing. I think this because somehow people turn rows and rows of coding into virtual realities that just keep getting more advanced and realistic. In a way video games have influenced my life more than most real people and for that reason I believe that they are essential to not just me but to the world as well.

  1. I could easily go a long time without playing video games. I like to get outside and do recreational activities. Video games are fun and all but there's so much out in the world to see and do.

  2. I could definitely survive without video games, but I give credit to people who are really good at them. I can play the simple games like the Wii, and I occasionally play Call of Duty with my brother but I am in no means good at them.

  3. I love video games! Could I live without them? Sure, but what would I do with my time then? Haha. Since I've been in college, I have found it hard to find the time for games, but do miss playing them. I end up just playing stupid games on my phone, nothing too exciting. I feel video games are very influential, maybe not so much that I'm going to go out and become an assassin and jump from rooftops into hay bales, but they still leave an imprint on you. It may not be too noticeable, but I believe it's there.
